JOB: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

WHERE: SPRINGHILL (NEAR AMHERST)

PAY: $14.10

JOB TYPE: TEMP – PERM OPPORTUNITY AFTER 3 MONTHS

BENEFIT: FULL BENEFIT (MEDICAL, DENTAL, DISABILITY COVERAGE) AFTER 6 MONTHS

REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE STEEL TOE BOOTS, MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 15LBS

We are looking for Production Assistant for our client located at Springhill, NS. Our client is looking for hardworking and dedicated team member to join their growing team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·               Installing gaskets and fittings

·               Installing metal or plastic handles on pails

·               Conducting basic inspection of product

·               Ensuring finished product is properly labelled

·               Packing finished product

·               Able to do multiple tasks

·               Perform physical duties, requiring average strength

·               Ability to stand for extended periods of time

·               Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

·               Previous manufacturing experience a definite asset

JOB TYPE: Working up to 40 hours per week,

HOURLY RATE: $14.10/hour

SHIFTS: Shifts are rotating days

Must be available Monday to Sunday

8am-4pm Day

4pm-12pm Evenings

12am-8am Nights

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MUST BE DEPENDABLE

Have a Steel Toe boots

Physically capable can lift 15lbs

Standing long periods of time
